We gladly announce our forthcoming Short Term Program Innovation Boot Camp on entrepreneurship, trendwatching and innovation during 12-16 October 2020 in Belgium and The Netherlands.
The project is currently planned to take place face-to-face. Depending on the development of the COVID-19 situation, the program can be changed to a virtual format at all times.
The Innovation Boot is organized by Hochschule der Medien (HdM) in Stuttgart/Germany in cooperation with its partner universities Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) in Amsterdam/The Netherlands and Karel de Grote University College (KdG) in Antwerp/Belgium.
The Innovation Boot welcomes undergraduate students from all disciplines and does not target applicants in the fields of entrepreneurship exclusively.
We also encourage colleagues interested in entrepreneurship education to join the project as observers, coaches or future partners in teaching.
The Innovation Boot Camps kicks off at KdG (Antwerp) and continues at HvA (Amsterdam). During one intensive week, students will deepen their know how of new technologies, learn to sell innovative ideas and enjoy a diverse cultural program. Up to 5 ECTS credits can be earned in the progam. Students will receive a certificate upon successful participation in the Innovation Boot Camp.
Anticipated costs for the week in Antwerp and Amsterdam range between 400 – 450 EUR in total. Participants interested in the Innovation Boot Camp will need to cover travel, accommodation, catering and social activities themselves.
Students are invited to submit their application (CV, letter of motivation and current Transcript of Records in English) in one pdf file to g.h.bazen@hva.nl by 10 July 2020.
Due to the limited number of seats available, partner universities of HdM are invited to send 5 international students (in total) to the Innovation Boot Camp in fall. If more than 5 students from one HdM partner university will apply, these candidates can be transferred to a waiting list. Depending on the final number of applicants, the organizing project universities HdM, KdG and HvA may reconsider a reallocation of seats for international students from their partner universities.
Please find further information on the program, credits and adivse on travel and accommodation on the website Innovation Boot Camp and in the brochure.
Lecturers and staff members of the organizing universities HdM, KdG and HvA will present the Innovation Boot Camp in an virtual information talk on the Innovation Boot Camp. Students and university staff are warmly invited to join in and benefit from an online answer and question session.
